Chief Pet Cat to Yes-A-Man. Just as mischievous as his 'BIG' brother
.
Midnight's Unfortunate Story
Now 100% INDOORS at Frankford Crest since his extremely unfortunate
adventure. He was previously an indoor/outdoor cat that was severely hurt
in some unknown fashion. All we do know is that his lower back is
fractured and nerve, bladder and colon functions are not normal. He was due
to be euthanized after having endure long,
expensive days and nights of treatment required for his health. But
fortunately, he found a loving home at a vet hospital to make his own. He is
now living a much safer life indoors even though he still has to have his
bladder squeezed several times a day for the rest of his life. (This is a
good example of why you should never let your cat be an indoor/outdoor
pet!)
Yes-A-Man - Chief Pet Cat, boss of
everyone, in charge of chaos, impishness, and anything he feels like. Has a
minor degree in sleeping.

The Story of ‘Yes-A-Man’
On a cold wintry day in November 1995, Dr. Norton received a frantic call
from his wife who saw a litter of kittens and mother playing on the corner
of a very busy intersection in North Dallas. She was worried they would be
hit by a car and killed. The two tried for two weeks to humanely capture
the litter of four black male kittens and one black mother. They managed to
capture three of the kittens but the mother and one kitten eluded them.
They temporarily gave up thinking the task impossible due to the
‘street smarts’ of the pair. When freezing weather began in
December, they redoubled their efforts and after several days of trying,
finally captured the remaining black kitten. The exhilaration of the moment
caused Dr. Norton to blurt out ‘Yes!’ They decided to call the
kitten ‘Yes’. Confusion over the kitten’s name versus
answers to questions caused it to be quickly changed to
‘Yes-A-Man’. He’s lived with Dr. Norton, and ruled both
offices since 1995. Dr. Norton can easily say that Yes-A-Man is the
smartest cat he’s seen in over 31 years of practice.
Electra - Assistant Pet Cat in charge
of love, affection, laying in the sun, sleeping,
and begging for food.

‘Electra’s
Electrifying experience'
One day in July 1996, Dr. Norton’s staff asked him if they could
adopt the stray young cat that had been living in the outdoor electrical
closet at Coit Valley Animal Hospital for several
weeks. It seems she had managed to squeeze under the plenum of the outside
door at will, and was living in the darkened room. Though she’d been
there several weeks, Dr. Norton remained clueless as to her existence. She
had been surviving by scavenging what she could in the neighborhood and
seeking daily shelter in the dark, circuit breaker-filled storage closet.
Being a cat lover, Dr. Norton quickly agreed to adoption and Electra joined
her new home. She’s been a sweet, loving pet of Coit Valley and Frankford Crest Animal
Hospital’s ever since.
